Funded Childcare

Home / Funded Childcare
Due to current guidelines of Coronavirus (Covid-19) we are taking children of vital key workers only, we hope this will only be for a short period of time. Please see here.
If you are a vital keyworker & require a temporary place for your child due to Coronavirus (Covid-19) please get in touch and we will try to extend a place for your child.
During this time we will not be showing prospective parents the nursery to reduce the risk of infection to children, parents and staff at the nursery.
If you would like any information about the nursery we can send you details out for when business resumes as normal.

All three and four year olds living in England are entitled to 570 hours of free early education and childcare a year. This is usually offered as 15 hours a week for up to 38 weeks a year and is a universal entitlement. It can be claimed through an Ofsted registered childcare provider the term after your child’s third birthday.

However, since September 2017 working families who meet the eligibility criteria can also claim an additional 15 hours of funded childcare a week. This means that eligible children will be able to receive up to 1140 hours of funded childcare a year. This change was introduced as part of the Childcare Act 2016.
